Low Total Alkalinity causes spa water to be corrosive that may result in staining, etching of spa surfaces. Low Total Alkalinity may cause ph to fluctuate excessively when being adjusted.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe ideal pH levels are between 7.2 – 7.8, promoting bather comfort, optimum chemical efficiency and protection of Hot Tub equipment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e7.2 or below indicates that your water is too acidic, which can cause itchiness and eye burn, and your sanitiser to be less effective.
