The BISHTA (The British and Irish Spa and Hot Tub Association) awards take place annually at the end of January each year. Held at The Industry Gala Evening SPATEX, it gives the opportunity for hot tub companies from across the UK apply for the awards in order to acknowledge their achievements within the wet leisure industry.

The BISHTA awards branch out across many different areas in order to showcase the best examples of: design, construction, installation and innovation within the industry. The British Pool & Hot Tub Awards celebrate hot tubs and swim spas that satisfy all budgets and tastes.
BISHTA was established in 2001 and exists to promote impeccable standards of safety, enjoyment and value, by registering suppliers of spas, hot tubs, accessories and water purification products. The awards were established in order to ensure companies that are engaged in the display and sale of hot tubs, have received the adequate amount of training in water hygiene management and they also understand the significance of maintaining these high standards.
This year, the awards evening was held at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry, where special guest and local superstar, Charlie Matthews from Wasps Rugby Football Club attended to present the lucky winners with the top awards.
Being given a BISHTA award is always a proud moment for any company within the wet leisure industry. The January 2019 awards were certainly a successful and promising start to the year for us, proudly receiving not one but TWO awards to put under our belt!
Both the Leeds and Hull showroom were awarded during the ceremony. The Leeds Showroom scored the highest winning the GOLD award for the best showroom and the Hull Showroom followed closely behind with the BRONZE award.
Hull Showroom Manager Dominic was there to collect the awards on the night; “It was a great feeling being able to win not one but two of the top awards for both of our showrooms. It really does reflect on how hard all of our team works day in and day out and everyone involved should be very proud.”
At Outdoor Living we have always been proud of our showrooms and will continue to run to the same high standard moving forward.
