CLEARRAY® Water Filtration System

New for 2013, Jacuzzi have added the CLEARRAY® water purification system as standard on all Jacuzzi hot tubs. The CLEARRAY® system is plumbed inline right after the heater. As water flows into the stainless steel tank, it is exposed to optimum UV-C rays, treating 99.9% of waterborne bacteria and viruses.

Ultraviolet light is part of the spectrum of electromagnetic energy generated by the sun. UV-C light effectively interacts with the DNA of bacteria and viruses; destroying their capability to reproduce, rendering them harmless.

UV disinfection is a natural process that adds no bi-product to your water and reduces the amount of chemicals required to maintain good water quality.

This UV system does not generate ozone. The benefits of using UV as a disinfectant include:
