Compare the jet type, shell structure, insulation and service access—not just the number on the box.
Water-pressure hydrotherapy. Water jets deliver directed pressure where you sit; the jet type and position matter more than a headline count.
AirJets can inflate the advertised count. Air bubbles are not directed water pressure, so “more jets” can be a false comparison.
DuraCore™ is a strong, sealed shell. Acrylic, vinyl ester bonding and reinforced fibreglass give the shell a strong surface, sealed bond and reinforced structure. Insulation helps retain heat without filling the cabinet solid with foam.
A slim or poorly reinforced shell is more vulnerable to flexing and cracking. “Acrylic shell” only names the surface; without the bond and reinforcement, you cannot compare the structure underneath.
Ozone purification works alongside filtration. It helps reduce impurities in the water between routine testing, cleaning and water changes.
Basic filtration is not the whole water-care system. If a cheaper tub relies on filtration alone, there is no additional ozone stage supporting the water between routine care.
