Compare the current, shell, insulation and equipment—not just the outside size.
A current you can swim against. Swim jets create adjustable resistance, so the water moves towards you rather than simply circulating around the spa.
Water movement is not the same as a swim current. A circulation pump can move water around without creating resistance you can swim against.
A reinforced shell, not just an acrylic surface. DuraCore™ combines acrylic, vinyl ester bonding and reinforced fibreglass to give the shell its surface, bond and structure.
“Acrylic shell” only describes the surface. Without clear details about the bonding and reinforcement underneath, you cannot compare how the shell is built.
Insulation helps the water stay warm. The shell is insulated without filling the cabinet solid with foam, so heat retention does not have to make the equipment difficult to reach.
More foam does not automatically mean better insulation. Dense foam can make the pump and pipework harder to reach, while unclear wall insulation leaves heat retention uncertain.
The key equipment is kept within reach. The pump, heater and filtration can be checked and serviced without fighting through a cabinet full of foam.
