The Hekla Traditional 210x is an indoor sauna cabin with a full grey glass front, a smooth thermo-aspen interior and benches for four or five. Heat it with a Harvia The Wall heater, ladle water on the stones and get proper Finnish heat in a spare room, garage or basement.
8 mm grey safety glass across the front, with a glass door and a long handle, keeps the cabin light and open to the room.
Aspen is smooth, splinter-free and resin-free, so it is comfortable on bare skin and doesn't weep sticky resin in the heat.
Deep 60 cm benches: an upper bench across the back and down the left side in an L, with a lower bench in front, so there is room to lie down.
A slim wall-hung heater with the Fenix Wi-Fi panel, so you can set the heat on the wall or start it from your phone. It comes with 9 kW.
LED lighting under the benches, with colour settings, for a calm evening session.
A bucket, a ladle, a thermometer and hygrometer, and a sauna timer are in the box.
It is a cabin that stands inside a room, so check the space, the way in and the power before it arrives.
Stand it on a dry, level, hard floor in a dry room. It is made for indoor use only.
The cabin is 211 × 205 cm and 200 cm tall. Hekla asks for at least 50 cm clear above it to fit the roof panel and wiring, so you need a ceiling of about 250 cm. Leave room to open the door.
The Wall heater is hard-wired by a qualified electrician on its own supply from your consumer unit, on a standard 230 V supply. Keep the room ventilated.
What is in the walls, the glass and the benches, and why it matters.
The inside is smooth thermo-aspen, which stays comfortable to touch in the heat and has no resin to weep.
Some cheaper cabins use softwood that can weep sticky resin and get hot to the touch.
A full glass front and door in tempered safety glass made for sauna heat, so the cabin feels open rather than boxed in.
A solid front can make a small room feel dark and enclosed.
Soft light from below, with colour settings, so the room feels calm rather than bright.
A bare light above your head is harsh when you are trying to relax.
Fresh air comes in and warm, used air goes out through the vent, so the air stays fresh while you sit in the heat.
Without ventilation the air goes stale and the room gets stuffy.
The Traditional 210x uses Harvia The Wall, a slim heater that hangs on the wall to save space, with the Fenix Wi-Fi panel. It comes with 9 kW, which Hekla matches to the room. Pick one above and the figures here follow your choice.

How we work this out: a 45-minute warm-up at full power, then a one-hour session with the heater on about half the time, so about 1.25 hours at full power. Electricity at 26.32p per kWh, the Ofgem price cap from October to December 2026. A month is 4.3 weeks. Your costs depend on your tariff, the weather and how hot you like it.
There is no wrong way to sauna, but this simple rhythm is how most Finns do it.
Switch on 30 to 45 minutes before. Most people enjoy 70 to 90°C. Take a quick shower first.
Stay 8 to 15 minutes. Sit higher for more heat, lower for less. Ladle a little water on the stones for a burst of soft steam.
Step out for a cold shower, a dip in an ice bath or just fresh air.
Sit down, drink some water, and when you are ready go back in. Two or three rounds is plenty.
Covered by the brand, backed by our team.
Your Hekla Traditional 210x comes with Hekla's 2-year warranty, and your Harvia heater is covered by Harvia. If anything goes wrong, call us first and we'll sort it out with the maker for you.
A few simple habits keep it looking good and smelling fresh.
It keeps the aspen benches clean and stops sweat marks soaking into the wood.
After a session, leave the door ajar so the inside dries. Don't use cleaning products or oils inside.
Re-stack the heater stones once a year and replace any that have crumbled.
Keep the vent clear and the room around the cabin ventilated, so warm, damp air has somewhere to go.
