Jacuzzi part numbers look like 6540-728 or 2560-040. If there is no number, call 01482 212322 with a photo of the old part.

Most hot tubs have a label with the model and serial number on the cabinet, usually on or behind the panel that covers the pump and control box. Your owner's manual shows where it is on your tub. On a Jacuzzi the model name also tells you the series: a J-235 is a J200 and a J-475 is a J400.

A dirty or blocked filter is the most common cause of poor water flow, and poor flow can stop the heater and show a flow or pressure error. Clean or replace the filter before you order a new pump, heater or switch. If the fault stays, the flow switch, pressure switch and temperature sensor are the next parts to check.

Universal parts are standard sizes, so they fit most hot tubs once the details match. Before you order, match the size and thread to your old part. For a pump, also match the horsepower, the number of speeds, the voltage and the pipe size.

Turn the power off at the isolator before you touch anything. Pumps, heaters, control boards and anything wired to the mains should be fitted by a qualified electrician or hot tub engineer.
