- Find your hot tub make, range and year on the cabinet label or in your manual.
- Note which seat the pillow is for, as lounger and corner pillows differ.
- Check the fixings on the back of the old pillow: slider, screws or clips.
- Order new fixings too if the old ones are broken.
- Take pillows out when you shock the water.

Straight answers on choosing, fitting and caring for hot tub pillows.
Most are not. Built-in pillows are shaped for one range and seat and clip into fittings made for that tub. Universal pillows that sit on the edge are also available for any hot tub.
Most pillows push or slide into a fitting in the shell, and some are held with screws or a slider. Fit it the same way the old one came out. If your old fixings are broken, replace them as well.
With good care a hot tub pillow lasts around 3 years. Strong sun, high sanitiser levels and unbalanced water wear them out faster.
Keep your water balanced, take the pillows out when you shock the water and leave them out for at least 15 minutes, rinse them in plain water now and then, and keep them out of direct sun when the tub is not in use. Replace them every 2 to 3 years.
